Rosy barbs are a small colourful fish suitable for outdoor ponds or indoor aquariums. Colouring varies from bronze, red, pink, gold and peach. They are a very active fish, swimming in schools and breeding fairly readily. Store Pick up Only!

Size: Maximum 10cm
Distribution: Bengal, India
Reproduction: The female's generally remain smaller and plumper then the male's and lack the brighter red colour, instead are more yellow, olive or gold. The male's are slimmer and can get quite a bright red colour. Like most fish allow for plenty of aquatic plants in the pond, they allow for a place for the eggs to hide otherwise they will be eaten by the parents.
Feeding: Rosy Barbs are omnivores. Rosy Barbs will eat anything they can get their mouths around, so be careful not to overfeed. they will eat any Algae or Bugs in the pond, as well as any dry or frozen fish foods.
