Scientific Name: Anthurium andraeanum

Anthurium's have bright red long lasting flowers. Although a very attractive plant, the Anthurium can be harmful if ingested. It is best to keep this plant away from pets and children. If leaves are broken and sap comes in contact with skin or eyes it could cause irritation. As an indoor plant the species likes bright light, warmth and humidity. Outdoors it will prefer sheltered, indirect light.
