Pre-filter sponge's are ideal for pond and fountain pumps. They will help to protect your pump from pieces of debris that may pass through the simple foam filter that most pumps already come with. In giving your pump better protection with a larger surface area it prevents those particles from damaging the impellor and gives you a longer time period when in comes to cleaning the filter. 

Sponge pre-filters will adapt to a variety of pumps.

This model comes with a 25mm male threaded core to fit most larger pumps.
